The Great Snow Race is Here!

As some you probably already know, The Great Snow Race is on now! Head over to the Ski Village, and you'll find the entrance to the main event. There's even a brand new Sled Racing run at the top of the Mountain!

New Test Server on Beta Team!

Hello Penguins!

In our developer's update last week, we mentioned that there would be some new stuff launching on Beta Team. We also said there'd be something a little different to test... We need your help to test out a brand new improvement to the chat system!

We've heard that some of you find it hard to chat with friends because of the filters. You asked if we could make it easier to chat with your buddies online.

You asked... and we listened! We've made some big improvements for you:

• Now you'll see suggested words above the chat bar as you write sentences!
• You can click the words that appear, and the system will automatically complete the word for you. Now you'll be able to chat way quicker than before!
• Tons more phrases than Ultimate Safe Chat... Over 300,000 phrases!

We want your help to test the chat system improvement before we release it on Club Penguin. Let us know what bugs or issues you find by submitting a comment in Beta Team. Remember that it's a test site, so things may not work the same way that you're used to (i.e. games, items, newspaper)

You can test the new chat system on Beta Team starting today! Can't wait to hear what you think.

Black penguin bug

I was logging in then i saw my penguin was black!

I went on a server then everyone was black and we couldn't change the color

I logged off and went back on and everything went to normal.

I heard of this bug but it was the first time it happend to me!

Stolen code!

People everywhere are posting this code to the green hoodie but it was for people who went to this event and PAYED for it! If you already used it and didn't know it's ok. But if you see a code next time that everyone can use for something DON'T USE IT!If Club Penguin gave it to you its alright to use it.
Book codes count too. I did use them before but i had no idea i was stealing!(i didnt have the book in real life) But i wont do it again.
This is why the membership prices are up but i deserve it.
Instead of stealing the hoodie i'm gonna wait for it intill i get series 7 and unlock it.
I really feel bad that i stole the book codes :(
Some penguins are greedy and know its stealing but they just do it!

Adopt a puffle
Adopting a puffle from the Pet Shop is a great introduction to the responsibilities and rewards of pet care.



Play Bits & Bolts

This counting game exposes your child to multiples and odd, even, and prime numbers. Find this arcade game in the Lounge above the Night Club.

Become a secret agent
By becoming a member of the Elite Penguin Force, your child can help others, solve problems and protect Club Penguin. Let them know there are missions to complete in the Command Room

The Bean Counters game in the Coffee Shop introduces players to color theory. Before pressing play, click the thread on the coffee bag to spill out the jelly beans. Click a jelly bean to access the secret level!

Be a tour guide
This job encourages your child to help others, meet friends, and develop social skills. Take the test and earn the Tour Guide hat in the Ski Village.

My Favorite Part of the party is the ship battle! You have the pirates with complicated cannons to load and the penguin navy with easy to load cannons. I actually like to be the pirates because I have an actual pirate costume and I like more of a chalenge. I Also Like the different bases in the cove and the beach and the things people say make it better. Rock on CP!

Developer Update: August 16

Hello Penguins,

Here's another quick update on what we've been working on behind the scenes here at the Club Penguin office. We're excited about some new things coming in the next few months. Here's a few of them:

New System Defender level - We're just about finished a brand new level for the EPF-only game System Defender. The new level will be released at the end of this week. Remember that you'll need to be a secret agent to play the game!

The Great Snow Race - Next week we'll be releasing the first ever "Great Snow Race", a party for extreme sports fans! We'll let you know more about this one next week. But for now, here's a little sneak peek:

Bugs squashed - There are a few silly bugs out there that we're in the process of squashing. Don't worry -- we've heard you and we're working on them every week. Thanks for letting us know about them. Remember to let us know what web browser you're using and the server you were on if you're letting us know about a bug.

Beta Team testing -- We're just about finished setting up something special for Beta Team testers. Testers: get ready to help beta test something a little different than a game...

System Defender Launch Update

Hello Penguins!

Quick update for you. We've received a few emails asking when the new System Defender level is coming for secret agents. You may have heard that we were going to launch a new level on August 11.

The new level will be launching at the end of next week. We apologize for the confusion.
